Scripture Distribution and Use for the Koronadal Blaans

Ben (son) & Dencia, Lydia & Cuma

Above (on the right) is Rev. Cuma Saya, the man God is using to distribute the Koronadal Blaan New Testament and hymn book. Pastor Cuma was part of the translation team from 1983 until the New Testament dedication in 1996. Since the dedication he has been focused on seeing that Blaans have access to the Scriptures in their own language. The provinces of South Cotabato, Tboli, Sarangani, and Davao del Sur and the city of General Santos in the southern Philippines are home to Blaan speakers and literally hundreds of small churches where Blaan is the language of worship.
With Pastor Cuma is his wife Lydia and his son Ben and daughter-in-law Dencia. Ben is also a pastor. Pastor Cuma and Lydia have three grown children and four grandchildren.
Also available to Blaan speakers is the Jesus film available in Koronadal Blaan in DVD format.
To contact Rev. Saya about the Koronadal Blaan Scriptures, hymnals, or the Jesus film:
